AbstractAbstract
[en] The technique of interventional radiology (IVR) has been established as a reliable method for various clinical applications, such as the diagnosis and cure of vascular and circulating systems. It has come to have a wider field of applications and is now being improved to provide performances of an even higher level. To meet the requirements of this particular fields, we have developed the MH-300 angiographic C-arm system. Designed as a multipurpose angiographic C-arm system of a floor stand type, the MH-300 is especially effective for the diagnosis and cure of whole body, and has the following noteworthy features: (1) Triple pivot construction, which enables traveling movement of the C-arm to permit highly reliable whole body angiography. (2) Higher speed rotation of the C-arm, which ensures minimized X-ray doses to the patients, and reduced quantity of contrast media, as well as higher speed of operation. (3) New F-50 collimator incorporating the MBH (multiple beam hardening) filter. (author)
