AbstractAbstract
[en] Results of 3D electromagnetic field calculations of the RF-cavity and of dynamic simulations considering these fields in a 5 MeV, 30mA separated sector cyclotron for injection into the JINR Phasotron are presented. Space charge effects were taken into account using direct Coulomb particle-to-particle method. Accurate record of the accelerating fields in computer modelling of the particle dynamics confirms that the current limit for separated turns is about 30mA for this cyclotron. (author)
