AbstractAbstract
[en] This technical specification details the requirements and the acceptance criteria for H/W and S/W design, fabrication, function test, inspection, installation and quality assurance for HANARO Seismic Monitoring and Analysis System (SMAS) which will be installed at the instrument room. The seismic monitoring and analysis system is classified as Non-Nuclear Safety(NNS), seismic category I, and quality class T. The seismic monitoring and analysis system which will be operating at HANARO quickly responds when a seismic event occurs to help the operators make the most informed decisions possible. This system is to acquire and analysis the earthquake waves. The data of acquisition and analysis is to use the structural integrity assessment of a structure or a system. The present HANARO seismic monitoring system consists of field sensors (FBA-3) and monitoring panel. Field sensors are composed of 3 triaxial accelerometers which installed at base slab YE-001, free field YE-002, overhead crane supports YE-003, seismic trigger YS-001, and seismic switch YS-002. Monitoring panel consists of seismic switch test panel, accelerograph control panel, accelerograph record panel, and playback unit. The study of improvement for the present analog seismic monitoring system with the magnetic tape recorder has been carried out based on the new digital seismic monitoring and analysis system except 5 sensors which installed in HANARO field
