AbstractAbstract
[en] This report addresses the dry recycling system using molten salt technique which has been described as one of the proliferation resistance fuel cycles. The conceptual studies have been implemented by Japan, the U.S. and Russia in order to reuse nuclear materials embedded in spent fuels. Even though the purpose of the recycling is different, the basic R and D of the concept has also been carried out in Korea. In this report, we examined a Japan research report, 'advanced nuclear fuel recycling system', which is issued by Japan Nuclear Fuel cycle Development Center in 1998, for helping to metal ingot study being implemented in Korea. This report, especially, is focused on the design concept of molten salt process, economics of the concept and nuclear material control related to nuclear safeguards
