AbstractAbstract
[en] A thin film of YBa2Cu3O7-δ (YBCO) was deposited on a MgO substrate by visible light (532 nm) pulsed laser ablation using a Nd:YAG laser. Oxygen radicals were introduced to improve the quality of the YBCO thin films. A thin film that was deposited using a target of composition YBa2Cu4O8-δ(1:2:4 target) in O2 gas, in which oxygen radicals produced by the oxygen plasma were included, changed to the superconducting state at 75 K. The resistance of the film decreased rapidly with decreasing temperature near the superconducting transition temperature. Another thin film deposited using a 1:2:4 target at 730 C in O2 gas without thermal annealing changed to the superconducting state at 50 K. (orig.)
