AbstractAbstract
[en] When there are strong shear flows at current sheets, the Kelvin-Helmholtz (K-H) instability and resistive instability can couple with each other so as to produce a new kind of unstable mode named as K-H and resistive instabilities coupling mode (KHRICM). The authors investigate numerically the KHRICM processes in double current sheet systems. It is found that the interaction of multiple current sheets will not only enhance the growth of KHRICM but also widen the ranges of plasma parameters under the case which KHRICM occurs. KHRICM in double current sheet systems becomes more unstable than that occurring in a single current sheet
