AbstractAbstract
[en] Aim of the present study is to investigate protective effects of alcoholic extract of Spinacia oleracea (SE) against radiation induced lipid peroxidation in brain of Swiss albino mice which is a rich source of carotene and other substance (vit. B, C, minerals, thiamine and flavonoids, iron etc.). Brain is highly susceptible to radiation induced oxidative damage due to its high utilization of oxygen and rather poorly developed anti-oxidative defense mechanism
