[en] The variability of F2 layer critical frequency measured over Havana has been investigated from low, middle and high solar activity periods. The results show mat, in general, the standard deviation reaches maximum values at daytime and the diurnal variation shows strong dependence of solar activity. The relative variability presents the maximum values at hours of minimum foF2. In general, a period of low solar activity leads two higher levels of variability indexes. (author)
