AbstractAbstract
[en] One of the drawbacks of the series-junction detector is that signal heights depend on position of incident photon. A series-junction detector with two-dimensional position resolution has been developed. The effective area is 1.5x1.5 mm2. The detector was irradiated by α particles and a position resolution of about 50 μm was obtained. Making use of this position resolution, the position dependence of pulse heights can be corrected, such that the energy resolution was improved from 11% to 0.79%
