AbstractAbstract
[en] A time-dependent one-and-half-dimensional model of a corona discharge with account for its transverse structure is developed. By using this model, the transient phenomena in a negative corona, such as a transition to the regime of regular Trichel-pulse generation upon applying the voltage to the discharge gap, are described for the first time.
