AbstractAbstract
[en] Influence of the beam flow on the electron transport is found to be fairly strong for the low density LHD discharges. In the outer region (0.4 < ρ < 1), the shape of the electron temperature profile is independent of the flow direction, but the absolute value is a factor of 1.5-2 higher for co-beam heated discharges. In the core region counter-directed beam flow appears to generates a structure, which enhances the core heat loss (core flattening), but an ITB forms when centrally deposited ECH power exceeds a threshold value.
