AbstractAbstract
[en] The SPPSHB computer code system is used for development of the fuel loading pattern of Units 3 and 4 at Kozloduy NPP with low burned assemblies from Units 1 and 2 . Some of the main results concerning assembly-wise power peaking factors, pin-wise power peaking factors and linear power density are presented and discussed in this paper. The results, obtained by the new code system SPPSHB, are compared with the results obtained by the old code system SPPS-1.6 - HEXAB2DB and with the results obtained by the Russian code system KASKAD. The well known WWER-440 local power peaking problem induced by the control assemblies is discussed, too (Authors)
