AbstractAbstract
[en] There are four possible applications of a research reactor: human resources development, irradiation of materials, use of neutron beam out of reactor and nuclear fuel control. Each research reactor can be used for educational purposes, research, production and services, for example neutron activation analysis, radioisotope production, transmutation effects. After reconstruction and modernization 50 % of the IRT-2000 reactor operational time can be used for training of nuclear specialists. The research programs will contribute the transfer of the modern achievements in the nuclear science and technology. The possibilities for IRT-2000 reactor use for students and nuclear operators training are also analysed
