[en] At Embalse N.G.S. several difficulties were experienced with the D₂O supply pressure controller, 63526PC11-1 and 63526PC11-2. Most of these difficulties, (already present at the 'commissioning' stage) are limitations imposed by the technology available at the time the decision was made. Taking into account this fact, the decision was taken of designing a new controller based on digital technology. At present this project is almost completed. The new equipment is already installed and connected. The wiring is completed. A series of tests and rehearsals were successfully carried out. 'On Reactor' operation, however, has not yet begun because some of the modules (which are 'standard quality') must be replaced by suitable ones. (CSA Z299.2 qualified). (author)
