[en] Allowed Outage Time (AOT) is the maximum time when the certain safety equipment is allowed to be out of operation, without the plant is put in a safer operational state, e.g. cold shutdown. The objective of the paper is to calculate risk informed AOT for selected safety equipment in nuclear power plant based on minimal risk. The probabilistic safety assessment (PSA) for internal events of the nuclear power plant (NPP) under investigation represents the standpoint for the calculation. The methods for calculation include consideration of plant configurations in the calculations. The results show that calculated risk informed AOT might differ from AOT specified in Technical Specifications.(author)
