[en] The work presents a brief overview of the most important scientific results of the research at one of the largest laboratories of JINR - the Laboratory of High Energies named after academicians V.I.Veksler and A.M.Baldin obtained in the first experiments at the LHE, IHEP, CERN and FNAL accelerators. The general role of LHE, JINR, in setting and realization of topical experimental research in the field of high energy physics is considered; the influence of scientific results obtained by LHE researchers in the first joint experiments at the world largest accelerators on the development of the theory of strong interactions and building of the modern theory of atomic nucleus is elucidated
