AbstractAbstract
[en] A benchmark of iron shell with a series of 3, 6, 11, 16 and 21.8 cm in thickness is established. The leakage gamma-ray energy spectra are measured with BC-501A spectrometer. The energy range of measured gamma-ray spectra is 0.5-5 MeV. The gamma-ray energy spectra are resolved by Compton-recoil electron method. From the analysis of gamma-ray spectrum, it is found that the iron shell's thickness has some effect on the change of spectra. The overall experimental error of gamma-ray spectra is 4%-6%. (authors)
