AbstractAbstract
[en] Depleted uranium has found broad application in some armies in the world. Reasons for that lies in physical and chemical characteristics of elemental uranium, such as high hardness, density, radioactivity and pyrophore nature. Besides that, depleted uranium is by product of NFC, and thus its very low price is also of importance. Although DU weapons have been developed for twenty years, its application is only recently in Gulf, Republic Srpska and SR Yugoslavia. The effects of depleted uranium application during NATO aggression on SRY is presented in this paper (author)
