AbstractAbstract
[en] We discuss certain situations in which the analytic isomorphism class of an isolated hypersurface singularity is determined by the Lie algebra of derivations of its moduli algebra. Our main attention is given to singularities defined by polynomials with the number of monomials equal to the number of variables. In this context, we indicate several classes of singularities which are classified by the associated Lie algebras. In particular, it is shown that this takes place for isolated singularities defined by binomials in two variables with the Milnor number not less than 7, which implies that simple singularities with Milnor number not less than 7 can be classified by the associated Lie algebras. Similar results are obtained for several other classes of isolated hypersurfaces singularities. A number of related results and open problems are also presented. (author)
