AbstractAbstract
[en] Equations for the solution of the diffusion equation in plane Cartesian geometry with the Boundary Element method was derived. The equation for the axi-symmetric case were set and included in the computer program. The results were compared to those obtained by the Finite Difference method. Comparing the results some advantages of the proposed method can be observed, with implications on the multidimensional problems. (author)
