AbstractAbstract
[en] Technetium-99m is the most important radioisotope for nuclear-medical application. The main source of sup 9 sup 9 sup m Tc are now sup 9 sup 9 Mo/ sup 9 sup 9 Tc generators based on fission-produced sup 9 sup 9 Mo. In principle the separation of sup 9 sup 9 Tc from its parent sup 9 sup 9 Mo can be achieved by using several methods. However the most important is chromatography. In the paper the possibilities of the production of sup 9 sup 9 Mo in nuclear reactor and cyclotron are given. The results of the production of sup 9 sup 9 Tc in Yugoslavia are reviewed (author)
