AbstractAbstract
[en] In the current work, a generalization of the subgroup resonance treatment was derived to account for the space and energy dependence of the resonant absorption inside the fuel rod of a heterogenous lattice. This paper describes the basic principles and algorithms used in the proposed subgroup method. The method is validated for interference effects in a homogenous uranium-plutonium mixture, and for spatial resonance interference in a realistic fuel dissolver benchmark problem. (author)
