AbstractAbstract
[en] As a result of immobilization of the spent ion-exchange resins in the three types of the bitumen matrices, different forms of bituminized radioactive wastes, with the increasing weight part of solid waste phase, were obtained. Solidified bitumen-radioactive waste mixtures, were treated by the standard Hespe's method (1), in aim to find out the leach-rate of the radionuclides from the bituminized samples. According to the calculated leach-rates, effective diffusion coefficients and percentage of the activity of 60 Co and 137 Cs, leached from the bituminized waste forms, the optimal matrix media and a weight part of the incorporated solid waste, was chosen, from the point of a view of radioactive waste safety impact with environment.
