AbstractAbstract
[en] In this paper a selection of optimal reload strategy for the cycles of transition in PWRs has been discusses. First step is a selection of alternative reload batch sizes. A general reloading strategy can be established allowing variable number of fuel assemblies hold-out in the reactor storage pool. As a second step a neutronics calculation of transient cycles should be done to obtain feed enrichment and cycle lengths for each cycle. The same program also calculates region-wise burnup sharing each cycle and isotopics at discharge as data needed for economic calculation of full costs in the format of the program FUELCASH, which is used for the different strategy economic evaluation.
