AbstractAbstract
[en] The modification of the axial distribution of generated power that occurs during the normal fuel life necessitates the consideration of their influence on the thermal reliability of the core as a whole. The reserve safety coefficient for PWR fuel rod clad burn-out for fresh fuel and fuel at the middle of life is analysed. The conducted analysis shows that the required thermal reliability is a limiting factor in reactor fuel management and exploitation. (author)
