AbstractAbstract
[en] These Lecture Notes give an intuitive introduction to noncommutative field theory with an emphasis on the physics ideas and methods. We pay special attention to those aspects of noncommutative field theory that represent genuine novelties from the physical point of view, such as the UV/IR mixing. We also include brief discussions of possible applications of these ideas to phenomenology as well as the connection to string theory. (author)
