AbstractAbstract
[en] The U(Al1-x , Six)3 plate fuel element had been heated from 30oC up to 600oC at 30oC/minutes heating rate and then up to 700oC at 2oC/minutes during three times repetition. The heating of samples had been done by instrument DTA in argon gas flow condition (UHP 99.99%) at atmospheric pressure. The U(AI,Si)3 as a result reaction product was identified using x-ray diffraction technique while the composition of elements was identified by SEM-EDS which it was connected to EDS. The reaction temperature of U3Si2 with Al is independent of the uranium loading but the enthalpy of reaction to be decrease by increasing the uranium loading fuel plate
