AbstractAbstract
[en] Non-conducting films were prepared with Polyvinyl chloride which is isolating polymer and exposed to gamma rays with different doses ranging from 1 to 1000 kGy in order to improve the physical, chemical and conducting properties of Polyaniline, which these properties have originally weak. The conductivity values of these PANI-PVC films were measured by I-V system and determined to be approximately 10-10 S/cm before irradiation. Then these films were exposed to gamma rays, and it was observed that its chemical structures were changed dramatically and as a result of this treatment the conductivity was started increase with increasing doses. The radiation induced changes at the peak height and area at 1160 cm-1 were observed with FTIR spectrometer and its values increased depending on the increasing radiation doses. After the irradiation, the changes on the peak maximum of the band at 600 nm to shifted from to 800 nm depending on radiation doses
