AbstractAbstract
[en] Potential formation in front of a negatively biased electron emitting electrode (collector) is studied by a fully kinetic one dimensional model of a plasma diode that contains electrons with a two-temperature Maxwellian velocity distribution function. Analytical and numerical results of the model are compared to the results of the PIC simulation. (author)
