AbstractAbstract
[en] The confirmation of neutrino flavor oscillation followed by the availability of best impressive limit on the half-life T1/20ν of 76Ge > 1.9 x 1025 yr from the Heidelberg-Moscow experiment and the claim of Klapdor and his group regarding the observation of (β-β)0ν decay in 76Ge has made the experimental study of (β-β-) 0ν decay indispensable as well as interesting. The (β-β-) 0ν decay is possible in a number of gauge theoretical models beyond the standard model, which violate the conservation of lepton number L. Further, there are different mechanisms within specific gauge theoretical model, which are responsible for the (β-β-) 0ν decay. Hence, it will be necessary to understand the role of different mechanisms of (β-β-) 0ν decay once it is observed. Out of several possibilities, we here study the single electron kinetic energy spectrum and angular correlation to untangle the role of mass mechanism and right handed currents in the (β-β-) 0ν decay.
