[en] Through a cooperation between the CDTN/CNEN-MG and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) there had been an acquisition of a facility for the a essays of stress corrosion simulating operation conditions of BWR and PWR reactors. The facility is composed of an autoclave with a servohydraulic stress system, controlled by displacement or load, and a hydraulic system, with a measurement system and water chemical treatment. That installation allows to preform stress tests with slow strain rate test (SSRT), used for the verification the susceptibility of a material to the stress corrosion. This test allows assessment of various materials submitted to large temperature and pressure ranges which can provoke or make easy the CST occurrence in susceptible materials. This paper presents the CST installation and a methodology for realization of SSRT and results analyses, simulating conditions used in PWR reactors
