AbstractAbstract
[en] Georgia is a small country situated between the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea. Georgia borders the Russian Federation in the north, Azerbaijan in the east, and Armenia and Turkey in the south. Considering the important geographic position of the country and the volatile political situation of the region in which it is located, the problem of illicit trafficking of radioactive and nuclear materials represents a pressing issue for Georgia.
