AbstractAbstract
[en] Supercritical water oxidation is an innovative process to treat organic liquid waste which uses supercritical water properties to mix efficiently the oxidant and the organic compounds. The reactor is a stirred double shell reactor. The aim of this work is to simulate the stirred double shell reactor with the FLUENT software. A first simulation of the hydrodynamics and of the thermal transfers has shown the difficulty to represent in two dimensions the set of the stirring phenomena. The simulation of the chemical reaction is studied according to different axes to obtain the convergence of the computation. The obtained experimental results are presented. (O.M.)
