[en] Thanks to a german market at its peak associated with the rise in importance of the spanish and italian markets, the european union established a new record for photovoltaic installations. According to first estimates, 1541,2 MWp were installed in 2007 (+57% with respect to 2006), bringing total EU installed capacity up 4689,5 MWp. (A.L.B.)
