AbstractAbstract
[en] The Grenelle de l'environnement has marked an important date in the development of France's environmental policy. It showed in particular that different stakeholders, from NGOs to trade unions including companies, authorities and administrations, were capable of converging on specific objectives, at once ambitious and realistic. But whilst the dangers- relating to petroleum and climate - are made clearer, today it seems the process is hovering midstream. The signal for environmental taxation, which will enable the energy transition to be prompted has still not been given. The introduction of a climate/energy contribution continues to be the long-term solution. Adapted recycling methods would mean its impacts on purchasing power and company competitiveness could be controlled. (authors)
