AbstractAbstract
[en] Studies of ceramic/metal superconducting wires and tapes can be advantageously performed by means of high-energy x-ray diffraction. The incident beam penetrates through the metal sheath and enables non-destructive investigations in transmission geometry. This contribution presents the highlights of in-situ studies performed by our group on phase transformation and microstructure evolution in (Bi,Pb)2Sr2Ca2Cu3010 and MgB2-based superconducting wires.
