AbstractAbstract
[en] This report describes two experiments realized in the Mont Terri underground research laboratory. In the first one, a dummy canister identical to those which are foreseen for a repository, was installed into a 6 m long tunnel and sealed with granular bentonite material. After 1.5 year the canister and the bentonite material were retrieved in order to study the effects on the surrounding Opalinus clay as well as the corrosion on the canister surface. In the second experiment, the water content and the deformation of the Opalinus clay walls were studied in a 10 m long tunnel as a function of the relative humidity of the air in the tunnel
