AbstractAbstract
[en] Production of HgS targets, based on HgO, is described. The HgS is precipitated from HgO dissolved in diluted HNO3 by gaseous H2S. Subsequently the target is manufactured by evaporation-condensation of HgS in vacuum. This way the 204HgS layers of 500 μg/cm2 on a backing carbon foil of 26 μg/cm2 were produced
