AbstractAbstract
[en] In the Plutonium Fuel Technical Development Center, protective clothing suitable for sweltering radiation work was examined. Since in a wet protective clothing with sweat, alpha ray is absorbed with moisture it was worried that of MOX powder by alpha measurement might be influenced the situations of alpha detection, the diffusion of contamination, and the osmosis and penetrability to wet protective clothing were examined for the present fabric and other new fabrics by MOX powder. As a result of examination, it was confirmed that the influence of detection on alpha ray in the wet condition of new fabrics was smaller than the current fabric. This report Summarized the result of examination and points in the fabric selection suitable for protective clothing. (author)
