AbstractAbstract
[en] It is well known since many years, that nuclear structure properties strongly influence the different reaction mechanisms associated with the nuclear collision. In heavy ion induced processes this is particularly valid at energies around the Coulomb barrier. In the case of systems far from stability, one expects that specific features of the systems (e.g. halo structures, low binding energy etc.) will also lead to signatures onto the reaction processes involving these nuclei. In order to investigate this topic, in the last decade cross-sections of different reaction processes have been measured using not only the halo nuclei 6He, 11Be and very recently also 8B [see e.g.1-5], but also stable weakly bound nuclei 6,7Li and 9Be [see e.g. 5] at Coulomb barrier energies. In this talk an overview of existing results and the experimental techniques adopted in order to overcome the problems related to the low intensities of the radioactive beams will be presented.(author)
