[en] New method for spectral analysis of heterogeneities formed during steel crystallization by means of double pulse laser spectrometry is suggested. With the help of double laser pulses one could perform quantitative analysis of metal and non-metal impurities in steel. Using spectrometer LSS-1 with a presented methodic one could perform layer wise analysis of thin heterogeneities with thickness of layer about 0,1 μm. Double pulse laser analysis of rolled wire showed that dark and light regions differ in impurities concentrations. (authors)
