[en] The NRX Reactor structure, equipment and experimental facilities are described. The purpose of the various components is explained using photographs and diagrams as much as possible. Dimensions are given so that the reader can visualize the relative sizes of the components. The report is meant to be an introduction to the NRX Design and Operating Manuals, from which detailed information can be obtained. It is expected that the report will be of value to trainee NRX Reactor Operations personnel and to those persons who require only a general knowledge of the reactor. A bibliography of AECL reports pertaining to NRX is given. (author)
