AbstractAbstract
[en] The stability constants of complexes compounds formed with tetracycline and lanthanides elements were determined for all lanthanides except promethium. The experimental procedure used was solvent extraction of the lanthanides labelled with their radioactive isotopes. It was shown that the formed complexes are mononuclear and that no hydroxo complexes or negatively charged complexes are formed in the experimental conditions of this work. Four methods of calculation were used for all complexes studied: the method of the average number of ligands, the method of limiting value, the method of two parameters and the method of weighted least squares. A comparison was made of the graphical methods with the method of least squares, showing the convenience of preceding least squares calculation by the graphical methods, in order to verify eventual mistakes of numerical data. It was shown the advantage of using radioisotopes of the elements for such a study, specially if the solvent extraction technique is used to-get the experimental data. (author)
