AbstractAbstract
[en] In the first part of the report the brief characteristic of the realized fuel cycles on Ukraine's NPP, types of loaded fuel is described. The list of the basic normative documents which determine order of implementation and licensing of new types of fuel is submitted. The problems which have arisen at implementation of the new fuel assemblies WWER-440, TWSA and TWS-W (FA of 'Westinghouse') are considered. The main plans on implementation of new types of fuel are presented. In the second part of the report a complex of codes which are used for verification calculations is described. For verification calculations the following codes are used: SCALE- critical problem, spent fuel; MCNP - critical problem, benchmarks for pin-by-pin power and fluence; NESSEL, HELIOS - cross-section libraries; CASMO - cross-section libraries (in cooperation with TUV); DYN3D - core safety, transients, accidents; DERAB - pip-by-pin calculations; TRANSURANUS - fuel pin behaviour; RETINA/MADAM, DOORS - flux/fluence on vessel
