[en] On 15 December 2009, a special meeting was held by NeVER (Dutch Energy Law Association) and Vlaver (Flemish Institute for Environmental and Energy Law) at the office of NautaDutilh in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Dutch and Flemish speakers addressed the topical subjects of private grids, direct lines and closed distribution systems. This article provides a brief report of this meeting, addressing: (1) New regulation in the new Electricity and Natural Gas Directive: closed distribution systems; (2) private grids in the Netherlands and the new exemption policy; (3) Private grids as instrument for market power and security of supply; and (4) closed distribution systems: A Belgian bird's eye view from the European perspective.

Op 15 december 2009 vond een bijzondere gezamenlijke bijeenkomst van de NeVER (Nederlandse Vereniging voor Energierecht) en de Vlaver (de Vlaamse vereniging voor energierecht) plaats ten kantore van NautaDutilh te Rotterdam. Nederlandse en Vlaamse sprekers gingen in op het actuele onderwerp van de private netten, directe lijnen en gesloten distributiesystemen. In dit artikel wordt een kort verslag gegeven van deze bijeenkomst met de onderwerpen (1) Nieuwe bepaling in de nieuwe Elektriciteits- en Aardgasrichtlijn: gesloten distributiesystemen; (2) Private netten in Nederland en het nieuw ontheffingenbeleid; (3) Private netten als instrument voor marktwerking en voorzieningszekerheid; en (4) Gesloten distributiesystemen: Een Belgische vogelvlucht vanuit Europees perspectief.Journal
