AbstractAbstract
[en] Different mechanisms of terahertz emission from carbon nanotubes (CNTs) in the presence of electric and magnetic fields are discussed. A nanoscale lasing device of Cherenkov type exploiting the emission of electromagnetic waves in the terahertz range by electron beam in an isolated multi-wall CNT and CNT bundles is proposed.
