[en] At Oarai Research and Development Center, Japan Atomic Energy Agency (JAEA) advances the plan of refurbishing Japan Materials Testing Reactor (JMTR ) to start the operation in fiscal 2011. JMTR is scheduled to install irradiation test facility of the light-water reactor fuel. The Fuel Transient Test Facility is the irradiation facility that examines to develop the safety evaluation technology of high-burn-up light water reactor fuels. This report is a summary of the system design of Fuel Transient Test Facility. (author)
