AbstractAbstract
[en] Several months after the Fukushima accident, a session of the French Academy of Sciences made an overview of the French nuclear sector. It notably addresses the different risks to be examined again in order to be better prepared to face a crisis situation: respect of para-seismic rules and of measures proposed by the ASN, implementation of emergency means, regrouping of activities in order to reduce as much as possible the transportation of hazardous materials, further researches for the development of new reactors and of radioactive waste management techniques. The Academy also outlines the necessity to improve public information and to develop epidemiological researches and training
