AbstractAbstract
[en] The calculation of magnetic field (B) and deflection angle (α) of parameters electron beam for steering system of EBM 500 keV / 10 mA has been done. The calculation based on the theory of solenoid coil. The solenoid coils are constructed perpendicular to electron tube. To find a maximum magnetic field (Bmax) at the beam axis use the relation between B and solenoid current B = f(I). With I variation from 0.1 to 5 A the yielded B can be applied for calculate the deflection angle of beam in the magnetic field based on the theory of Lorentz force and centrifugal force, because this angle is a function of magnetic field (α = f(B)). From the calculation fields B = 7.28 Gauss and α = 0.043 at I = 2 A. In order to get beam deflection, the coil current must be greater than 2 A and B must be greater than 10 G. The result of the calculation supports the design of steering system for the EBM. (author)
