[en] Before presenting a set of 29 indicators, the background of their selection, their definition, the methodology used to assess them, graphs illustrating their evolution, this document highlights the fact that these indicators do not have all the same capacity to express the situation of the environment, reports comments made by some partners about these indicators, discusses the various evolutions noticed for these different indicators, and outlines how these evolutions reveal contrasted results and France's position with respect to other countries in Europe and in the world.
